Please check the required [DOCUMENT CHECKLIST AVAILABLE HERE], this is a general list of items, and some STUDY programs may need additional documentation, this office will provide the proper list in case your program warrants a different process.
Visa Application Form for long term stay (91 to 365 days) MUST apply by MAIL.
Students will have to notarize the signature in the Visa application form before our Honorary Consul in Dallas (dallas.onorario@esteri.it) or before an US Notary Public if they do not live in the Dallas area.
Remember to mail the physical passport.
Do not mail the original Driver license and/or US resident Card but provide a notarized copy.

Students attending a program for less than 90 days and requiring a Study visa for the first time will have to book an appointment for taking fingerprints here [PRENOT@MI].
(Requirements for less than 90 days visas do not apply to US and MEX citizens, or any other citizen of a country under a VISA WAIVER status).
For short term stay the [SCHENGEN APPLICATION FORM] or [eApplication] MUST be used.
