PAYMENT OF VISA FEES CAN BE MADE AS FOLLOWS:
- Cashier’s check or money order (no personal checks) paid out to “Consulate General of Italy”;
- Cash; you are kindly requested to provide the office with the exact amount;
ADDITIONALLY BE MINDFUL OF:
- FEES ARE ADJUSTED EVERY 3 MONTHS (January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, October 1st).
- THE VISA PROCESSING FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE, regardless the visa is issued or not, this rule applies also to applicants who decides to withdraws their applications
- RUSH FEE IS NEVER APPLICABLE

THE VISA IS ISSUED FOR FREE TO THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:
- US Family dependents of a US military deployed in Italy holding a NO FEE passport;
- Minors of less than 6 years of age (short stay only);
- Researchers and representatives of non-profit organizations age 25 years or less participating in seminars, conferences, sport, cultural and educational events organized by non-profit organizations;
- Family member of EU or European Economic Area citizens;
- Citizen of South Korea for a Long Stay Visa (over 90 days).
