Exceptions will be made only for parents of a minor and companions of people with disabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Situations of proven necessity will be evaluated individually by the security personnel and, if necessary, by the Consul General.<br \/>\nIt is recommended to bring and show the email of the appointment from the consular office at the entrance. Failure to present the appointment email may result in denied entry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While reiterating that the measures listed above are intended to ensure better service and greater security for users, we apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.<br \/>\nAccess to the Consulate is permitted depending on the capacity of the waiting rooms and the availability of seating. Discretion regarding the flow of people is entrusted to the Security personnel who will carry out security checks.<br \/>\nAnimals of any kind, even small ones, are not allowed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROHIBITED ITEMS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Smartphones;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Large suitcases;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Weapons of any kind;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Razor blades, utility knives, knives, scissors, martial arts equipment, swords and sabers;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Stunning or incapacitating devices;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Chemicals, gases, irritating pepper sprays, tear gas, acids and animal repellents;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Objects with a sharp point or edge;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Work tools; \u2013 Pressurized containers;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Fireworks and other pyrotechnic articles;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Perfumes, deodorants, and shaving foams;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Sprays of all kinds, flammable and non-flammable;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Food and beverages of all kinds (including sealed or unsealed water bottles);<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Sports equipment;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Arduino boards, Raspberry Pi, Flipper Zero, Marauder, HackRF One and similar devices;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Laser pointers;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Helmets;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Photographic tripods;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Bicycles of all kinds, electric and non-electric scooters, Segways and unicycles;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Closed or sealed packages will be opened for inspection;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Umbrellas (small or large) must be deposited in the designated containers near the entrance.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/conslondra.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Cartello-divieti-copia-724x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Orari e Modalit\u00e0 di accesso al Consolato Generale \u2013 Consolato Generale ...\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"For security reasons, in order to protect primarily the users of the Consulate General of Italy in Houston, as well as all the staff working here, the public is informed that: Only those who personally require consular services will be admitted to the Consulate.
