Click <a href=\"resource\/doc\/2020\/10\/greeneflyer.pdf\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This presentation will examine the trope of whiteness within Fellini\u2019s first color film, The Temptations of Doctor Antonio (1962), arguing that the film\u2019s setting within the EUR, or the Esposizione Universale Roma, allows for a meditation on Italy\u2019s colonial legacies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8212;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Shelleen Greene is Associate Professor at UCLA\u2019s School of Theatre, Film &#038; Television. Her research interests include Italian cinema, Black European Studies and digital feminist studies.
