The Italian Research Day in the World 2023

Science interlocks with gender issues: STEM passion, scientific challenges and gendered innovations” Symposium, on April 17th.

  • Prof. Annalisi Quaini, Dept. of Mathematics, University of Houston, Houston, TX, “Learning the language of the Universe: the mathematics of clouds, crowds and nanoparticles”.
  • Prof. Londa Schiebinger (connected remotely), Founding Director of Gendered Innovations in Science, Health & Medicine, Engineering and Environment, Histoy Dept., University of Stanford, Stanford, CA, “Gender Innovations: Enhancing Excellence in Science & Technology”.

The event is on occasion of the celebration of the “Italian Research Day in the World, 2023”, established in memory of the anniversary of the birth on April 15th, 1452 of the Italian genius Leonardo da Vinci.
