The event will feature two distinguished Italian doctors: Prof. Luigi Ricciardiello, a gastroenterology expert at the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Prof. Angelo Nascimbene, Associate Professor at the Center for Advanced Cardiopulmonary Therapies and Transplantation at UTHealth Houston. The speakers will explore the fundamental principles of the Mediterranean diet and present scientific studies supporting its health benefits.
Following the presentations, Tiziana Triolo from Tiziana’s Creations will offer a live cooking demonstration, where you will have the opportunity to discover and learn how to prepare typical Mediterranean dishes. The event will conclude with an Italian Aperitivo, where guests can enjoy authentic dishes and participate in networking opportunities.

This event brings together two Italian entrepreneurs who are keeping the culinary traditions of Italy alive in the United States, while reflecting on sustainability and gastronomic culture.

Both Silvia and Marco will share their personal experiences and insights on preserving Italian culinary traditions, focusing on sustainability in the food industry and the cultural significance of their craft. The event will also offer attendees the opportunity to taste some of their products, including pastries and gelato.

ACCADEMIA DELLA CULTURA ENOGASTRONOMICA ITALIANA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with Coldiretti – Filiera Italia and Campagna Amica, has launched an innovative multimedia project.
