Reacquisition of Italian Citizenship

Pursuant to Law no. 91/1992, which came into effect on August 16th 1992, choosing to become a citizen of another Country no longer results in the automatic loss of Italian citizenship, unless Italian citizenship is formally renounced (art. 11 Law n. 91/92).
