The Storm Prediction Center of the United States Weather Service provides a website that provides real-time information on the evolution of weather conditions likely to create storms or other extreme weather phenomena throughout the United States, together with satellite maps and other useful information .
Other useful information is provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the US Department of Commerce. The “Extreme Weather Information Sheets” provide up-to-date and easily accessible information with emergency contact numbers in several states and regions, including Oklahoma, Arkansas and the northern regions of Texas and Louisiana, where there is a greater risk of tornadoes.
